Why I Am Running
As a devoted parent, neighbor, and active member of our community, I care deeply about the direction of our public schools. Our district faces unique opportunities and challenges in the coming years, and I believe my background, personal commitment, and priorities (see below) make me a strong candidate to serve our students, teachers, and taxpayers.
With a clear schedule and focus on Tenafly’s future, I am ready for my next milestone: serving on the Tenafly Board of Education. I bring an engineer's problem-solving mind, an MBA's financial rigor, and a parent's deep daily investment in our schools. Tenafly is where we are building our life, and I look forward to having the opportunity to serve this community and earning your trust to serve on the Board for years to come.

While technology is an undeniable part of modern education, I am passionate about restoring balance. Screen time should enhance learning, not replace fundamental human connection, critical thinking, or hands-on experiences. I will advocate for thoughtful, evidence-based guidelines that ensure technology serves our children rather than distracting from their growth.

Holding an MBA from a top institution and having served at HSA Treasurer, I understand how to analyze budgets, allocate resources efficiently, and make smart, sustainable investments while being sensitive to the taxpayer. A well-resourced school district that delivers results is good for the investments we have all made in our homes here in Tenafly.
