Committed to Tenafly and Our Schools
As a devoted parent, neighbor, and active member of our community, I care deeply about the direction of our public schools. Our district faces unique opportunities and challenges in the coming years, and I believe my background, commitment, and priorities make me a strong candidate to serve.
With a background in engineering followed by business school training in finance, marketing, and strategy, I built a career at the intersection of technology and business. Moving from Hanover to Hartford, Boston, Evanston, San Francisco, and New York City, I worked across companies large and small as a technology consultant and a product and marketing executive. During the early enterprise software days, I was privileged to be part of the pioneering team that helped build CRM from the ground up while leading the industry’s transition to the cloud.
Then, at the height of the pandemic, my wife and I decided to leave NYC. We moved our family to Tenafly in September 2020. We were drawn by the warmth of the community, the quick access to the city, and, above all, the exceptional reputation of the local schools.
My wife and I are raising three amazing, high-energy boys ages 13, 10, and almost 7, alongside Luca, our friendly 2-year-old Cavapoo. Having already spent six wonderful years navigating Maugham Elementary and three at TMS, our family’s daily life is completely woven into the fabric of this district.
Realizing how committed we were to Tenafly, I stepped back from other ventures to dedicate my time to our local community. My record of volunteering includes: coaching 6 seasons of Tenafly youth baseball and basketball, serving 2 years as Treasurer on the Maugham HSA Board, conducting local alumni interviews for my alma mater, strategic advising at our shul in Closter while helping produce a music album, serving 3 years on a membership committee for a community in PA, and serving as Treasurer of my NYC condominium for 4 years.
Now, with a clear schedule and a singular focus for Tenafly’s future, I am ready for the next milestone: serving on the Tenafly Board of Education. Effective boards require constructive collaboration, active listening, and strong execution. I pride myself on working well with people of diverse perspectives. I believe the best solutions come from robust, respectful dialogue. Beyond listening, I bring a proven track record of solving problems and executing strategic plans effectively.
Collaboration. Problem-solving. Financial rigor. Commitment to our community. I look forward to the opportunity to serve you on the Board of Education and to earn your trust to serve for years to come. Be sure to vote in November!
